Adrian Castagna, Executive Producer and President at Flip Films discusses industry trends regarding the Audiovisual Techniques category at FIAP with PRODU, check out the interview!

Flip Films Adrian Castagna: There is a misperception about production costs for a digital piece

Among the pieces submitted by Castagna, he was impressed with a piece inscribed by Alma. "I was surprised by the high level of production. This piece is set during World War II and tells the story of Leica cameras during this time. "

For Castagna, the industry is in a period of transition between digital and traditional media. He stressed the misperception regarding production costs for a digital piece. "Between traditional and digital advertising is the perception that digital is cheaper and actually production costs are equal, which is more economical are the means in which they will display the advertising," he said.

"Advertisers continue to invest in the traditional model because there is still a segment of people who are not online.  Eventually these two medias will join.  The TV will be the center of the home as you will be connected to the Internet and it will be more interactive. "

The executive believes that television still remains the most important. "Even the TV is king because its content has more audiences than other media.  It is the medium that has more resources to create high-level content and generate a large audience. At the end of the day the content is what rules and television has not been able to dethrone ".
